- Through an exciting combination of abstract and realistic work, Marike Klomp and Marcelle van der Leeuw give their own interpretation of their lives as a wife and a mother. They both have a busy life with a job and a family, and this emerges in their work. Marcelle van der Leeuw uses a realistic way, Marike Klomp has an abstract approach.

The Drenthe Collection
- In 2011 K&C Drenthe took the initiative to The Collection of Drenthe, a visual arts competition for artists born or raised in Drenthe. The work of amateurs and professionals was reviewed anonymously by a jury in early 2012, after which the jury decided which work went to a final exhibition. The theme was " Men and animal and Drenth ground".
